STATEMENT OF FAITH
We Believe:
That there is one God, eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (John 16:15, Matthew 28:19).
Jesus, the Son of God, was born to a virgin, died on a cross, and rose from the dead to pay the penalty for human sins-past, present, and future (Luke 1:26-35, John 3:13-18).
Every person sins and can only be saved from eternal punishment for their sin through acceptance of Jesus as Savior and Lord. Trusting Jesus' death and resurrection alone brings new life and restores our relationship with God (John 14:6-7, Romans 3:21-26).
Believers in Jesus should follow Christ's example and be baptized in water as a public sign and seal of their new life in Christ (Acts 2:38, Matthew 3:13-17).
Holy Spirit indwells anyone who turns from sin (repentance) and believes in Jesus' accomplished work on the cross on their behalf. Through the Holy Spirit, we access God and His help. Being filled with Holy Spirit results in fruit, gifts, ministries, and miraculous signs. Believers can seek and ask for continued and greater fillings of Holy Spirit. He is always eager to guide, convict, and move through willing believers (John 14:10-27, John 16:5-15, Ephesians 4:10-13, Romans 12:1-8).
Freedom Lighthouse Ministries' Believers are a part of the worldwide Body of Christ (His Church) (John 17:20-23, 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, Ephesians 4:1-6).
